I am in the mood of changing the house decoration a little. I can’t afford new furniture so, I just want to move the location of the furniture I have.

Autumn is here and a change of season means a change in our life. Colds and flu’s are going to start attacking everybody, allergies, why not furniture too. I really would like to have some rustic furniture in the living room but for now I have to stay a few more years with my old couch’s. I’m thinking about restoring them myself. They are made of a sort of leather that is already a lot little damaged and I want o cover them with a new sort of cloth. My bedroom furniture also needs a coat of paint, it’s white and I want it brown or black.

Some people prefer to do these changes during spring but I prefer to do it now. Autumn is already a darker season, why not lighten it up with some changes around the house?

One thing I find really necessary to have in the garden during Summer is a pool. Although most people think that a pool costs a lot of money, some are really affordable.

I have an Intex Easy Set Pool for my kids in the backyard and they spend most of the time going in and out, allowing me to do other things at home.

Right now I have five kids in the pool, two teenager boys and three six years old girls. The teenagers are jumping into the pool, splashing the water out. Maybe this is a great way for them to get rid of blackheads that are starting to appear on their face due to the adolescence.

It’s great to have kids around enjoying the pool and each other but…it’s so much work for me, so much noise, I end up the day really tired.

But today, I was in the pool in the morning and in the afternoon while we were the three of us alone.

So, you have a pond in your garden, maybe with Koi fish, and you want to make it more attractive.

- Water plants are an excellent option. They bring a green view that together with the colorful koi make the pond beautiful.

- Pond fountains are a great addition to a pond. They are very easy to mount, usually are connected with the pond pump and they bring movement and sound to the pond.

- Add some lighting to the pond.

- Keep the pond clean by having a proper pump and cleaning system. Maintenance is essencial.
