Google is a something I use on a daily basis. I usually type in the rectangular box what I want to search and click enter. This is a normal gesture for me and for millions users around the world.
Well, Google just launched a new feature that will allow users to search using voice instead of typed words. It is called Voice Search.
Multitasking was a reality for most people and now it has become even more used once you can have your hands busy for instance with a coffee and a book and make a Google search at the same time.
The microphone symbol that shows up in Google search box is a very useful tool for busy and for lazy people. Those multitasking will be pleased to use it and so will those that don’t want to spend time typing what they want to search.
This new feature will please those traveling once it works while mobile. If we go to a country with a different language we can use the Voice Search to translate words and even sentences. We can also check weather forecast and other important news we might need while on the road, such as restaurant information.
With the launch of the Voice Search a new device was immediately designed. The Verbalizer is a small gadget that connects to our computers via Bluetooth and when connected it opens a new tab on the web browser and immediately activates Voice Search. A sound will then be played and the person will know that the user can say the words that are supposed to be searched on Google.
If you want to make your own Verbalizer you can find all the instructions you need here.
