For quite sometime, even years, I have been longing to work from home. Being a part-time mother and part-time worker has always been a dream that finally came true. When I say part-time mom I mean take care of the kids while they are not at school. I have no babies now so although I am a full time mom I can say I can take care of them in part-time, because some hours are spent at school.

At first I wanted to have my own home based business but for now I work for others as a freelancer. It still is a home based work however I have “bosses” to whom I have to fulfill their job requests. I’m loving it because I am doing what I like. Online Marketing, SEO, SMM, backlink, bookmarker, etc.. At last I have the job I want and not the one I must have to earn money.

Isn’t this great?

There’s an old saying that 90% of what you do in life is just showing up. While some people consider this to be true, almost everyone will agree that showing up on time is 100% of life. However, some people still think that it’s okay to be consistently late to various appointments.

There are very few situations where it’s not rude to make others wait on you. If you keep your friends waiting too often, they’ll start to think that you don’t care about your friendship enough to be there on time.

Being frequently late to your job is an obvious behavior to avoid, yet some people continue to do it. Most companies have no problem firing an employee who’s consistently late. Similarly, being late to classes can mean that you miss out on important information that could have an effect on your grade. Being late will almost always result in negative consequences, while it will rarely impart any benefits.

First, being late is a good way to waste your energy unnecessarily. You’ll often be forced to make up excuses for your lateness, and you’ll start to run out of excuses very quickly if it happens regularly.

Put your brain to better use by arriving on time and concentrating on the things that really matter. You also cause yourself undue stress by being late, so don’t add another unnecessary source of stress to your life; you have enough already.

If you’re paid as an hourly employee by your company, it’s almost a guarantee that they want you to show up on time every day. Many offices allow a five-minute grace period before they consider you tardy, but it’s really best not to push your employer’s patience.

Think about it this way: if you arrive to work on time every day while another coworker has a less-than-stellar record when it comes to tardiness, who will the bosses be more apt to promote? All other things equal, being punctual will display good time management skills, and that could mean the difference in getting you the next promotion.

Whatever your situation, it’s always going to be the case that being on time has benefits while being late has consequences. Save yourself the headache and make it a goal to always be on time, and you’ll reap the rewards.

Relax with an Epsom salts bath!
A new study reveals that upping the level of magnesium in your bloodstream can combat memory loss and enhance learning ability. The reason: A compound in magnesium, MgT, strengthens synapses and nerve connection in the brain’s command center for long-term memory. A relaxing way to get the benefit: Take a bath with magnesium-packed Epsom salts, which get soaked up through your pores, allowing magnesium to enter your system faster than if you took a supplement! And because both magnesium and warm baths help you unwind, you get two benefits in one!

Add avocado to your salad
A little bit of healthy fat can do wonders for your memory, say scientists at the University of California at Irvine. In fact, their research reveals that a hormone released during the digestion of certain fats triggers memory-enhancing signals in the brain, resulting in better long-term memory! But the hormone, called OEA, only comes from oleic acid, found in mono-unsaturated fatty acids like the ones in olive oil and avocados – not in the saturated fat found in burgers and potato chips.

Rent a tearjerker(really)!
As odd as it may sound, researchers report that making yourself temporarily sad – say, by watching The Notebook or Titanic – gives your brain a memory jolt! The proof: In a study, one group of volunteers was asked to recall happy events, the other sad ones, then told to do a series of tasks. The result: The “sad” group was more focused and attentive and could recall past events far more clearly than the “happy”group. Bonus: They were also able to communicate more effectively!

Take the B-for-brain vitamin
Medical experts from Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital found that vitamin B3(also known as niacin can not only restore brain function to folks who’ve had strokes, but it can even promote the growth of new blood vessels in the brain! ”niacin essentially rewires the brain, ” explains Michael Chipp, M. D., lead study author. the recommended daily dose: 14 mg. per day for women (17 mg. if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding). don’t like supplements? B3 is naturally abundant in beets, brewer’s yeast, salmon, tuna and peanuts.

Chew gum!
Recent research by the children’s nutrition research center at Baylor college of medicine in Houston found that chewing gum revs alertness and boosts recall! in their 14-week study, teens allowed to chew gum during tests had better scores and higher final grades than teens who went gumless. That’s not all: Japanese research suggests that the act of chewing increases heart rate, sending more memory-boosting oxygen to the brain.

Have you got thoughts of a best day at work?

Regardless of whether you’re employed in the corporate atmosphere or out of your home business office, it’s very easy these days to lose concentration with your targets, tasks and to-do lists. In this post, I will offer several tips for preparing that productive day that eludes you. I will also discuss a particular planning application called the Franklin Covey PlanPlus software. For the purposes of this short article, I will suppose that you work at home as this could actually be one of the most challenging to beat with regards to sticking with a plan.

Just what do you do when you initially sit down to begin your work time?
Many people check their e-mail very first thing in the morning and this can be a probable time suck unless you have a clear plan for dealing with your inbox. If you do choose to check your e-mail very first thing in the morning you should get in the habit of permitting yourself just some initial time to do so as this particular activity on it’s own can definitely derail your morning hours.

Here are some tips for efficiently sorting through your e-mail.
Set a timer for 15-20 mins or what ever time you need to permit so that the morning does not get away from you all because of e-mail. Skim topic lines and instantly delete spam and non-important e-mails. Make use of a marking or folder method for e-mail organization and instantly put them into the proper labels and files for simplicity of use later in the day. If you work with the Franklin PlanPlus software (it can be downloaded online, no need for heavy books) one extremely awesome function is the ability to turn e-mails into daily tasks simply by dragging them to your task tab within the software.

I really advice that you avoid checking e-mail very first thing in the morning. Rather, the very best use of your time would be to sit down with your cup of espresso and prepare your entire day. To be most effective with this task, you would have a system for that month and week for your use to be able to effortlessly observe your progress in the direction of particular goals and targets for that month, week and day. This overall plan, of course, is what will have you on track for a productive year and your long-term targets and vision.

Planning is essential for achievement with regards to operating your home business.
Productive individuals have this in common and they realize that to be able to achieve goals, they need to first have the ability to envision an end result associated with what that achievement will look like. There are lots of planning resources that will help you for getting from where you are now to a time projected into the future. All of the FranklinCovey publications, planners and applications are very well-known and useful in assisting people with this type of organization. The FranklinCovey PlanPlus is no exception and if you are presently using a paper system for scheduling and Outlook for your e-mail method, here is the best integration of the two to suit your needs.

Sometimes they get frustrated when they can’t keep up with all the intriguing literature that is released. Authors around the world produce printed data and fiction, at a rate so phenomenal, that even the most avid of readers struggle to keep up. With our DYNAMIC SPEED READING method, you’ll easily be able to read twice to three times the amount you now read in the same time.

The human brain/mind is capable of comprehending and cataloguing from 10,000 to 50,000 units of information every minute (one unit being equal to one word) and this is based upon old statistics. Based on the new technologies in education and strides in self-development, your brain/mind is capable of much more.

The human body is a vehicle that records various senses and transfers them to the brain/mind. The brain/mind acts like a computer. Perhaps the brain/mind is the body’s operational computer to make easier for us to learn. We learn through information (data) which is transmitted in many ways. We receive data through our five physical senses, and our brain/mind makes decisions, choices and judgements from those factors.

Our limitations in reading were programmed during childhood when we were first taught to read. Yet, brain/mind researchers have shown that through DYNAMIC SPEED READING method, thousands have broken that pattern and increased speeds dramatically.

This course teaches techniques for becoming Dynamic. We expect you, minimally, to become a speed reader who loves to read and improve the quality of your life. Maximally, we expect great, positive successes from our students. A beginning average reading speed for the average American high school graduate is about 250 words per minute. Those from the south read somewhat slower because of their drawl. Those who stutter also read slower. An average college student reads approximately 300 w.p.m.

Please take note: Recent studies have indicated that the English reading rate has dropped due to poor education in the past decade. The reduction of reading speed is astounding averaging 35% poor reading rates in the US. Be Dynamic undoes the damage of poor education system and was developed by Dr. Jay Polmar, who studied in the US when education mean something special and reading was king.

Be Dynamic Through Speed Reading by Dr. Jay Polmar is now available on Amazon.com in printed and Kindle books and with the unique audio programming system that makes you the best student you can be.
