Almost every month I receive credit cards and insurance marketing on the mail. Usually I open the letters and they go directly to the recycle bin, but I’m glad last month I kept the one regarding insurance.

It was a brochure related to the life insurance we must have throughout our house loan. I went to the bank and they gave me a cheaper insurance than the one I have now.

Guess what, I talked to my insurance company and they lowered my price. This is awesome because I’m going to save some money but it also is a little sad that they waited until I complaint to lower my price. No matter what, we are always being robbed in some way.

Today I received a letter from the bank informing me that they have their own life insurances for those that have a house loan.

I have a home loan but the life insurance is in an external insurance company. One of my tasks on Monday is to go to the bank and for their quote so I can compare with the other two life insurance quotes I already have.

I hope I can get a reduction in the total price once the insurance will be made in the same place where the loan is.

I was sure that my life insurance amount was too high so I decided it was time to as for life insurance quotes in different companies. Guess what? I got lower prices and I was excited about it because I really need to lower my expenses. Once the lower quote I had was from another insurance company, I decided it was time to confront my actual one. They were very nice and they gave me a lower price even lower that the quote I had. This proves that, sometimes, we have to “squeeze” people to get lower prices,
