Well, like wikipedia says:

A blackhead (medically known as an open comedo,[1] plural comedones) is a yellow or blackish bump or plug on the skin. A blackhead is a type of acne vulgaris. Contrary to the common belief that it is caused by poor hygiene, blackheads are caused by excess oils that have accumulated in the sebaceous gland’s duct. The substance found in these bumps mostly consists of keratin and modified sebum (an oily secretion of the sebaceous gland), which darkens as it oxidizes. Clogged hair follicles, where blackheads often occur, reflect light irregularly to produce a blackhead’s “black” hue.[2] For this reason, the blockage might not necessarily look black when extracted from the pore, but may have a more yellow-brown colour as a result of its melanin content.

Christmas and New Year season is only 3 weeks away and the menus are already being prepared. While some are thinking about what are they cooking for the holiday season other are thinking about their diets and how they are going to avoid gaining weight with so many food available.

Where, there are a few tips you can follow:

  • 1 – Stay away from the high caloric foods like desserts.
  • 2 – Prefer vegetables and fruit over high carb food.
  • 3 – Eat small quantities of food each time.
  • 4 – Exercise everyday.

I know it will probably be easier to get the best diet pills for women and men and take them during the holiday season, but that won’t be healthy nor the solution.

If you are on a strict diet, stay loyal to the diet even if your head says the opposite. If you eat what you find, you will regret later.

Now that the weather is changing and Autumn days are definitely here, people use that as an excuse to not go outside and exercise. They say it’s too cold, that it’s raining and they prefer to stay in door on the couch eating something and watching television.

I don’t blame them, it really is nicer to stay indoors on cold days but for those who are overweighted that might be a big problem. Some people just think that taking diet pills and start taking a fat burner product can be an option, but no matter what, exercise is essential to lose weight and stay in shape.

There are a lot of home exercise options even if they can’t afford buying home gym machines. A small space in one room will be enough for the practice of some exercises, and when it’s not raining or too cold, they can go outside and run for a while. I’m positive that after a few minutes they won’t feel the cold.

Lately we hear and read a lot about the Acai Berry. We all know that it is healthy and that we have benefits in including it in our daily diet:

  • Anti aging properties.
  • Helps relieving joint pain.
  • Is useful as an anti-anxiety and anti-depressant.
  • Improves eyesight.
  • Balances out cholesterol levels.
  • It is good for the heart health.
  • Provides the body with the proper daily healthy nutrition dose.
  • Makes skin look and feel younger and softer again.
  • Helps those suffering from insomnia.
  • It’s useful as colon cleanser.
  • It is a concentrated source of antioxidant that slows down the aging process.

Acai berry is also associated with weight loss but the information is contradictory. Some call it the acai scam that is used only to sell products others say it really work. Who is telling the truth?

For the first time in my life I feel I have a “big belly”. Really, this makes me laugh because I was always a skinny, slim girl and woman, I now, with a few more pounds I feel that maybe I need to exercise to lose belly fat.

I always hear people complaining that they are fat and that I’m slim, people envy me because they have to take slimming tablets for women and I don’t. Doctors always told me I was fine, no need to increase the weight but if I could gain a few more pounds it would be great. So now, I’m on the “point”, right weight for my height. :) Oh, I just don’t need the fat belly.
